Gas-fired infra-red heaters emulate the true efficiency of the sun by generating radiant energy that is converted into heat when absorbed by objects in its' path. Once the infra-red energy is absorbed by the floors, machinery, stock and people, it is then re-radiated to warm the surrounding air. This method of heating provides the most effective and comfortable way of heating most environments.

Reference the C.A.D. Library


The Detroit Radiant Products C.A.D. Reference Library contains files of computer-generated drawings of our primary heating products and equipment. Various individual models are available for use in generating application layouts and may be sized to the specific scale being utilized. Drawings are categorized according to one of the following applications: ‘low intensity heaters’, ‘high intensity heaters’ or ‘miscellaneous symbols’. The drawings are available in four formats – dwf, dwg, dxf and gif.
